WATCH-MINDER consists of two layers of 100% Superfine Merino Wool. These additional layers are intended to help minimise damage to watches- such as scratches from contact with other surfaces.

Please note that it cannot prevent all damage to watches.

Any reduction to damage / scratches is limited to the nature of the fabric, how it is made, and how it is worn.

The two bands of 100% Superfine Merino Wool are sewn together at the bottom. This area also has our WATCH-MINDER logo embroidered onto it. This area is deliberately thicker and provides increased protection for the buckle from common “desk diving” damage.

“Desk diving” - refer to scuffs, scratches, and wear to a watches bracelet received while sitting at an office desk. These marks are considered normal wear and tear and are usually received while typing as the bracelet rubs the desk.

Merino sheep are a breed known for producing high quality fleece.

Superfine wool is defined as having a diameter below 17 micron, fine wools are from 17 to 19, above 19 is ordinary wool.

Defined and regulated by Textile Exchange, "Responsible Wool Standard" is a voluntary standard that requires all sites, from wool farms to the seller in the final business-to-business transaction, to be certified. RWS farmers and ranchers are evaluated against animal welfare, land management, and social requirements set in the standard.

Textile Exchange was founded as Organic Exchange in 2002, they have grown to become a global non-profit working closely with every sector involved in the fashion and textile supply chain.

MTK Australia Pty. Ltd. (Melbourne Textile Knitting Co) is an Australian company that offers bespoke innovative knit fabric design and manufacturing. They are based in Oakleigh South, a suburb in south-eastern Melbourne.

MTK Australia supply their fabrics internationally to many other well known fashion brands.

They are one of only three knitting mills still manufacturing in the whole of Australa.

Wool fibers swell when they become wet and then contracts when as they dry.

Wool will shrink if washed in hot water. Therefore avoid washing in really hot water, and do not put in dryers.

Handwashing in cool or slightly warm water is recommended.

Our 100% Superfine Merino Wool has been tested thoroughly. Being a natural product, the fabric was found to stretch when first worn, but then become very stable in length. Each WATCH-MINDER is therefore pre-stretched prior to packaging for sale. However, as with all woollen products, you should expect some continued stretching with wear and time.

Washing WATCH-MINDER will refresh the fabric and reduce shape memory.

MTK AUSTRALIA fabric is dyed to our specifications -

Classic Black, Classic Brown, and Season 1 Lavender.

The fabric is then received by Creative Collection Co and cut to pattern.

Our logo is embroidered on the under side deliberately to minimise 'desk diving' scratches.

Each WATCH-MINDER is then sewn individually by Creative Collection Co staff.

Each WATCH-MINDER then undergoes Quality Control checking. They are then placed onto a stretching rod to rest for 72 hours.

After this, they are packaged according to size and sent to our distribution partners.

WATCH-MINDER is designed to be worn snug on the wrist. 

Upon receipt and try-on, if you find that it is too small or too large, we can exchange for a different size (depending on availability).

To be eligible for a return:

1) Please email contact@watch-minder to register your request for exchange or refund.

2) All items MUST be returned with the original swing tag attached with the original string intact. The tag should be complete with sticker in place. See reference photo here. This provides evidence that the item is unworn, unused, and unwashed.

Australian Returns:

Post the WATCH-MINDER(s) back to us - this can be by cost-effective envelope or satchel depending on quantity. You - the buyer - are responsible for the cost of postage back to us, however we will post replacement(s) back to you at our cost - we believe that that is fair.

All returned items must be received within 14 days from the date of delivery

All returned items must be "as new", and not be damaged, altered or washed, have no stains or damage, and be in a saleable condition.

Once received, the item will be checked by our returns team. 

Once approved, an exchange or refund will then be made.

As per the ACCC, "Change of mind" returns are not eligible for refunds.

Please note:

WATCH-MINDER is made from superfine merino wool fabric. Measurements and tolerances may be up to 20% of indicated. Superfine merino wool can and will stretch with wear, washing, time.

WATCH-MINDER is designed to fit firmly over watches. The recommended sizes are based on your wrist size. We strongly recommend that you should measure your wrist size before ordering.

Wrist circumference is measured 1cm from the wrist crease (without a watch on).
